Error classes of the BMF letter of 15 October 2025.

## Cases \#

| Case | Value | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `Format` | `'format'` | Format errors (marginal no. 6a): the document is not an e-invoice. |
| `BusinessRule` | `'business_rule'` | Business rule errors (marginal no. 6b). |
| `Content` | `'content'` | Content errors (marginal no. 35a): mandatory information is wrong or missing. |

## Methods \#

| Method | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `->label()` | The name of the class with the marginal number of the BMF letter, German or English. |
| `::of()` | The error class of a finding: the UStG rules are content errors, the missing e-invoice (DE-EINVOICE-\*) a format error, the other findings are format, business rule or content errors by their validation level. |
| `->voidsEInvoice()` | Whether the error turns an e-invoice into an "other invoice" in the sense of the UStG. |
